Safety
Safety is our primary
concern. You may either bring your own safety equipment or purchase
it during registration for $20.00. As a minimum, you will be
required to have the following safety equipment prior to live-fire
exercises or qualification:

- Hearing Protection
Firearms/Ammunition
You may bring your own
firearms to class or we can provide the firearms and ammunition. The cost
to rent a semi-automatic pistol is $25.00, and a revolver is $35.00. We must know in advance if you choose to use our firearms. If you bring your own firearm, it must be
a modern firearm in good working
condition and well maintained. Similarly, ammunition must be of modern smokeless
design and made specifically for the firearm(s). Reloads are not
allowed.
- Kansas Concealed Carry
- Revolver or Semi-automatic pistol of any caliber with a
minimum of 25 rounds of ammunition
- Missouri Concealed Carry
- Revolver of any caliber with 70 rounds of ammunition
- Semi-automatic pistol of any caliber with 70 rounds of ammunition
- NRA First Steps Pistol Course
- Any Revolver or Semi-automatic pistol of any caliber with a minimum
of 50 rounds of ammunition
- NRA Basic Pistol Course
- Any Revolver or Semi-automatic pistol of any caliber with a minimum
of 100 rounds of ammunition
- NRA Personal Protection
Inside the Home Course
- Any Revolver or Semi-automatic pistol of any caliber with a minimum
of 100 rounds of ammunition
- Must have previous training such as NRA Basic Pistol or State CCW
Class
- Advanced Pistol Class
- Primary carry weapon with a quality holster, at least one spare
magazine or speed loader and 400 rounds of ammunition.
- Must have previous training such as NRA Basic Pistol or State CCW
Class

Qualifications
You may not participate in
any of the courses provided by TSA Services, LLC or its subsidiary
Southwest Missouri Firearms Training if any of the following apply:
- You are a convicted felon
- A valid order of
protection has been issued against you
- You have been convicted
of a crime of domestic violence in the past five years
- You have been committed,
by any court or other judiciary proceeding, to a mental institution within
the past five years
- You arrive at the course
after having recently consumed alcohol or taken any other illegal drug
or a legally prescribed or over the counter drug that may otherwise adversely
impact your safety or the safety of others in the class.
- Note that you must be 21
years of age to obtain a CCW. You must be 18 to take our courses
without parental consent.
You may not participate in
the NRA Personal Protection courses without verifiable handgun training or
experience.
